Publisher and scope
This website is published by Ottercrimsonvally Design Media Ltd, 11 St Pauls Square, Birmingham B3 1RB, United Kingdom; company no. 14730586. Enquiries may be sent to [email protected]. These terms describe use of the website and its editorial tools.
General information, not professional advice
Content is provided for general educational and editorial purposes. It is not architectural, engineering, legal, surveying or other professional advice, and it does not constitute a project specification, installation instruction, method statement or compliance certificate.
Do not size members, select anchors, establish guarding dimensions or approve construction solely from this site. Engage appropriately qualified professionals and consult current requirements for the location, building use and work involved. Concept diagrams are intentionally incomplete and are not construction details.
Accuracy and changing requirements
We aim to explain topics clearly, but do not warrant that all material is complete, current or suitable for a particular purpose. Regulations, standards, products and practices can change. A reference to a standard does not reproduce its full scope or establish its applicability. Check official documents and project-specific advice.
Tell us about a possible error through the Contact page. We may correct, update or remove content without undertaking to provide individual notification.
No fabrication or quotation service
Ottercrimsonvally does not offer fabrication, installation, engineering calculations, project inspection or certification through this website. Nothing here is an offer to supply custom metalwork. Descriptions of buildings, makers, standards or materials do not imply endorsement, affiliation or a commercial relationship.
Reference photographs are not presented as work commissioned or fabricated by the publisher. They illustrate visual concepts and do not prove safety, material identity or compliance.
The enquiry worksheet
The contact tool prepares text locally. Copy and Download do not send an email, submit a quotation request or create an appointment. You are responsible for reviewing the message and choosing whether to send it using your own email application. Clipboard access and downloads depend on your browser and device.
Do not include unlawful material, sensitive third-party information or confidential project documents. Sending correspondence does not establish a professional advisory relationship or a duty to review a design.
Copyright and reuse
Unless otherwise indicated, original site text, layout and diagrams are protected by intellectual property rights belonging to the publisher or relevant rights holders. You may read, link to and print reasonable extracts for personal reference. Statutory exceptions, including applicable quotation rights, are unaffected.
For republication, systematic reproduction or commercial reuse beyond what the law permits, request permission. Image rights may be separate from rights in the editorial text; permission to reuse an article does not automatically include its photography.
Acceptable use and external links
Do not attempt to disrupt the website, introduce malicious code, bypass security measures or use it for unlawful activity. Links to external resources are provided for context. We do not control their content, availability or privacy practices, and linking does not mean we endorse every statement they contain.
Liability and your legal rights
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses arising from reliance on general editorial content as project-specific advice, or from interruptions and technical faults outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory protections available to you. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without preventing consumers from using a court or legal protection available to them under applicable mandatory law.
